Helping the busy lifters of Huntsville overcome recurring injuries and get back to high-level training without setbacks.
I’m the owner and lead physical therapist at Rocket City Performance Therapy, where I specialize in helping active adults and athletes stay strong, perform at a high level, and train without limitations. As an avid CrossFitter myself, I understand the demands of barbell training, high-intensity workouts, and the frustration of dealing with pain that just won’t go away.
I’m certified in dry needling and have advanced training in working with runners and barbell athletes, allowing me to take a performance-based approach to rehab. My goal isn’t just to get you out of pain—it’s to help you move better, lift better, and build a body that can handle the demands you place on it.
I started Rocket City Performance Therapy after seeing a major gap in how athletes were treated in traditional physical therapy settings. Too often, active individuals are given cookie-cutter exercise programs, told to rest, or pulled away from the activities they love. I knew there was a better way.
At RCPT, I focus on customized, intentional care that’s built around you, your goals, and your training. Whether you’re dealing with a nagging injury or looking to optimize performance, the goal is the same: help you stay consistent, build resilience, and continue doing what you love for the long term.

LIFT WITHOUT LIMITS
Meet the Team

I don’t have a big “light-bulb moment” story for why I became a physical therapist—it’s simply something I’ve wanted since I was a teenager. I was fortunate to go into college with that clarity and set my goals accordingly. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Montevallo in 2009 and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UAB in 2012.
After graduating, I worked in large corporate settings where I often saw 22–25 patients a day. I quickly realized that model of care wasn’t for me. I hated feeling rushed and knew there had to be a better way—for both therapists and the people we’re trying to help.
During that time, I focused heavily on continuing education to become the best clinician I could be. I earned my Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) in 2014 and became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2016, and I’m currently in the process of recertifying.
In 2019, after returning to Huntsville, I started exploring pelvic health—and ended up loving it. I continue to treat orthopedic patients, especially fitness and barbell athletes and runners, but I’ve developed a real passion for working with the active pelvic health population. As an adult athlete with my own history of pelvic floor issues, I deeply understand both how important pelvic health is and how frustrating it can be when things aren’t working the way they should.
Beyond treating patients, I’m passionate about educating other therapists. I serve as a lab assistant for UAB physical therapy students in their orthopedic labs and as a teaching assistant with the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute in their Pelvic Function Series. I’m committed to continuing to grow and learn so I can provide the highest level of care possible.
